Yes the bike shops can give discounts on bikes, but keep in mind:
- The bike will be insured for the selling price, and not for the recommended retail price. For example: the recommended retail price of the bike is €3300,- and you buy it for €3000,-. The insurance value of your bike will be €3000,-. In case of theft you can choose a replacement bike for that amount. You will most likely not be able to choose the same type as you had as that has a higher value.
