Yes, all bikes are all-risk insured. Did you lease your bike before February 1, 2024? Then the excess for a bicycle, e-bike, speed pedelec, or cargo bike is €0. For a road or mountain bike, the excess is 10% of the insured amount, which is the selling price of the bike.
Have you leased your bike from February 1, 2024? Then the excess for a city bike and e-bike is €0. The excess for an (e-)bakfiets, speed-pedelec, (e-)racing bike and (e-)mountain bike is 10% of the insured amount when the bike is not equipped with a GPS tracker with recovery service. If the bicycle does have a GPS tracker with recovery service, no excess applies.
If your bike is stolen you will receive a new, similar bike of maximum the same price within the existing lease contract.
Note: The bike store where you turn in the police report is also the bike store where you can pick out your new bike.
