In this article, we explain to you how the process works when you choose a bike from the Canyon brand. Leasing a Canyon bike works slightly differently than at a physical bike shop.
How do I order my Canyon lease bike?
You can only order a Canyon bike online via the official Canyon website. It is not possible to arrange this through other affiliated bike shops. During checkout on the website, select the payment method 'Lease a Bike Nederland'. Here, you fill in your personal order code to finalize the order.
Which service package is included?
When ordering a Canyon bike online via our platform, it is important to know that you do not have a free choice of service packages. We standardly select the Standard package; other options are not permitted for Canyon lease bikes.
What happens after the order?
As soon as you have placed the order, you will receive an email from us containing the addendum. After you accept this document, Canyon will proceed with delivering your bike.
Checking the bike and activating the contract
From the moment Canyon ships the bike to you, you have 12 days to check for and report any defects. If something is not right, please contact Canyon directly and pause the contract in your Lease a Bike portal. If everything is to your satisfaction, the contract will automatically activate after 12 days, but you can also easily do this yourself earlier via the platform.
