Below is the 8-step scheme:
DEALER: Step 1/8 - agree to company guidelines
The dealer must agree to the company guidelines set forth by the company. Check the square at the bottom of the page and go to next step.
DEALER: Step 2/8 - enter lease bike & accessories
The dealer must now enter the bike including any accessories. Note! Actively ask the employee if they want to lease accessories with it, they cannot be added later.
DEALER: Step 3/8 - select a service and maintenance package
The dealer selects the desired service and maintenance package in consultation with the employee. Premium is allowed only for (regular) e-bikes.
DEALER: Step 4/8 - final confirmation
After the employee's agreement, the dealer must confirm the selection of the bike, accessories and service and maintenance package. The amount in the platform is the gross lease amount, not taking into account any gross-net benefit. What the bike will cost the employee net can be calculated via https://www.lease-a-bike.nl/calculator. Please note that you cannot go back after this step.
EMPLOYER: Step 5/8 - agree to terms and conditions
The employee automatically received the terms and conditions (including lease price) by mail. The amount in the platform and user agreement is the gross lease amount. The employee must first agree to these terms to receive the PIN by mail. After the employee has done this you can proceed at once to deliver the bike (if in stock). To do this, go to "contracts" again on the left and click on the employee's contract.
DEALER: step 6/8 - complete invoice details
You now enter the correct invoice details including invoice number. NOTE: This must always be a unique invoice number, otherwise it cannot be paid! The invoice does not have to be sent separately to Lease a Bike. If you want to make up your own invoice in advance in the cashier system, please go to 'contract data' for the overview of the amounts.
DEALER: step 7/8 - approve invoice
Approve the invoice. This invoice is automatically sent to the leasing company after delivery of the bike. The leasing company pays the invoice within 3 business days.
DEALER: Step 8/8 - the bike can be delivered (if in stock)
The bike can now be handed over to the employee. Note: Do not enter the employee's PIN until the bike can actually be transferred. Also, be precise when entering the bike data. Important: Verify the employee with his/her ID.
