You can easily combine the tax-free mileage allowance with the lease bike. That works like this:
You are not entitled to the untaxed kilometer allowance for commuting kilometers with the lease bike. But for the kilometers you cover with another means of transport – such as your own car or public transport – you may continue to pay the kilometer allowance.
Example:
Suppose, before the lease bike plan, you went to work by your own car five days a week. You received a mileage allowance for this. Now that you have a leased bike, you go to work by bike two days a week and by your own car three days a week. This means that you can continue to pay mileage allowance for three days a week.
